We started with the tamales. They lived up to their hype! The tamales were spicy, the corn sauce cooled it off and the pico de gallo tasted so fresh. This, was followed up by salads. Patrick tried The House: chopped iceberg and romaine, sweet peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, red onion, and Alabama goat cheese crumbles in a lemon-Dijon vinaigrette. It looked good, but I am not a fan a raw red onion, so I skipped trying it. I went with the 463 Caesar romaine lettuce and garlic croutons tossed in a basil-Caesar dressing. YUM! I love trying different Caesar salads (Restaurant Tyler's is good too) and the basil-Caesar dressing was delicious. It was light and so, so flavorful. It had just enough Parmesan to accent the flavor, but not enough to be overkill.
